Since I’m most probably still in bed catching up on some much needed sleep after my late night at the Christmas Party last night, I thought I’d be super organised (you know me) and pre-write this post. And since I’ve also been smiling plenty this week I thought that should be the theme of the post, plus Courtney at Sweet Tooth Sweet Life also does a similar thing that never fails to get me smiling, laughing and feeling great. So hopefully I can share a bit of that too.
What Made Me Smile This Week
Baking, naturally.
Completing the 21 Day Grit Challenge! 7 classes nailed.
This sexy boy rockin’ my Chobani apron. He has clothes on people, don’t be scared. If you lived in Brisbane later you’d understand the need to go shirtless…everywhere. Plus he was way too patient and good to me this week.
Watermelon! Ahhhh, so good! This was an impulse buy because I couldn’t justify spending my life savings on strawberries this week. $2 watermelon, I’ll take you. So juice, refreshing and sweet!
Excuse the language, but this cracked me up. Break out the festive jokes!
Feeling like I could have made a difference in someone’s life. It feels good to give your all and lay it out there for others.
Call me crazy but I loved feeling my hamstrings for two days after doing these Glute Ham Raises. Plus having everyone eyeball you in the classroom (but secretly loving and thanking you) makes you feel good haha!
Having the boyfriend LOVE the homemade hollandaise (lazy girl) sauce I made him. Made me feel like a true housewife haha.

Knowing that I’ll soon be relaxing and partying it up at the Gold Coast <– ahh I need you.

Getting excited about the Body Step workshop this weekend! I LOVE getting new releases- and cannot wait to see what they’ve got for us.

Receiving smiles, thanks, compliments and comments during and after teaching a Body Step class really makes my day. It makes doing it worth so much more.

Cooking for others. I love to cook, so there’s a bit of selfishness in there, but I also love helping mum out, and receiving clean plates at the end of the meal. I love nourishing others through wholesome, healthy and delicious food. Plus, then I get to eat it also- and let me say I cook a mean moussaka!

Finding and falling in love with a new blogger and blog this week. Lindsay from Lindsay’s List! I, embarrassingly, spent hours on her site reading through every post I could find.
Bite size delights are definitely making their statements lately. A few bite sized goodies of my own in cookie and pancake form. Just pop it in your mouth and enjoy! Little nibbles make me happy, that’s for sure!
And finally…
Spending down time watching funny youtube videos. Recent ones:
- Jenna Marbles- How Girls Fall asleep
- A Bad Lip Reading of Twilight
- A Bad Lip Reading of Hunger Games
- Anything by Jenna Marbles!
I hope you enjoyed my smiles and laughs from the week! Enjoy your Sunday beautiful people.
What is something that made you smile or laugh this week?
Hehe I watched that Hunger Games video, hilarious! 🙂
ahhh J-Marbs is my GIRL! seriously obsessed with her…
