Yup, unfortunately after the disco last night and another late pick up (best gf ever… again!) I woke up early this morning feeling worse for wear. I guess it’s that on top of the hectic school days, gym sessions, teaching classes, being a housewife (haha), and all the extra lesson prep that’s taking its toll. I seriously have a HUGE amount of respect for people who do this day in and day out, and just hope it’s going to get easier. You guys are seriously incredible. I know the easy thing to do is opt out of the extra gym sessions and just do gym when I’m teaching classes, but really it’s not an option for me (unless it’s a recovery day of course) because I love it TOO much to not go. I guess that’s why so many people come up with the excuses that they don’t have time or they can’t be stuffed- because some days it really is tough to get up and go when you’re exhausted. Do remember that sometimes staying home is the right option too.
Oh and don’t say I don’t practise what I preach (I always try to!) because this morning I had very little motivation to go to my bike class. I was exhausted, although sleep was not an option once I woke up. Basically I was lying in bed having an internal battle deciding whether or not to go- I ended up with the decision ‘well I might as well just go’. And off I went. The class wasn’t my best performance as I was starting to feel a bit fatigued and I think I may be coming down with a cold because of the body aches, but I still went and worked up a sweat. See, motivation isn’t necessary! I think I’m going to take it easy for the rest of the weekend and hopefully I’ll get a few extra hours sleep, plus a massage if someone is feeling generous? Oh and maybe some retail therapy will help? I still haven’t spent my gift card from the bf!

- Relaxing- after work and before dinner (tiny window of hope haha)
- Quality time with my man 🙂
- Foam rolling
- House hunting (we sold our house and are now looking to rent- weee exciting!)
Well I’m off to pretend to be productive for a bit, have breakfast and then ACTUALLY be productive. I’ll check in later this arvo.
