BAM
How’s that for an opening photo? Haha. Not exactly the most attractive thing you’ve seen?
How about from this angle? Yep, you’re right- I too would much rather look at these.
But seriously, it looks fatal doesn’t it? I mean I am worried they might have to take the finger. Haha, okay so I’m not quite that dramatic but I will admit it did hurt a whole lot at 5am in the morning! Intrigued? Well listen up folks, because I’ve got a tale for you:
So I was in the middle of a terribly upsetting dream last night and I was relieved when I woke up feeling quite chilly. I checked my phone and it was 5am and I proceeded to shut the window and BAM! Caught my finger in the damn window! I let out a gigantic yelp, began to cry hysterically into my pillow and then eventually, tried to calm myself down. I ended up having panadol and the bf got my an ice pack to put on it (such a good nurse). The ice stung but after a while it began to numb it and (so that, in combination with the head rub I was getting) I was able to go back to sleep- only to have another odd and not so happy dream (hmm why all these weird dreams?!).
So that’s the story of how I survived my terrible window attack haha. It may not look like much but this finger is pretty much out of action for a while now. When it first happened it was terrible because there was a combination of pain, shock and throbbing-ness in my half-asleep state that really jerked me awake! Oh and there was lots of profanities haha.
But apart from that early morning shenanigan my day has been a typical Friday. I filled a Body Step class this morning (my 3rd in the past 24 hrs!) and then headed home quickly to get ready for my uni tutorial. After that I rushed to work where I did all that was needed to be done, had lunch and proceeded to do my study. I’ve finally had enough (that’s a lie, I had enough about 5 minutes after I initially started) and decided I really wanted some downtime- so here I am!
After many positive comments on my last post about my beautiful little angel– I’ve decided that you must, like me, love looking at my Dotti. So I’ve decided to pop on another photo I’ve got of her and share some of her nicknames. I’ll have to find out where all her old photos are- when she was super young and little nawww!
With her jacket, blanket/mat and toy. This was not long after she had a near-death experience thanks to a tic. So she is a bit skinny and worse for wear.
She goes by the name of Dotti, but also gets called DotDot, Dot, bubba and Dottitini (not sure how to spell that last one haha).
So lovely reader, are you a dog or cat person? I’d say I am a dog person- preferably small dogs, but I do love me some adorable kittens.
Oh noooo! =( Ouch! What a way to wake up.
I reckon! Haha, I won’t be closing the window half-asleep for a while 😉 Surprisingly it’s recovered quite well already. Still sensitive to touch but not constantly throbbing 🙂
