I think I deserve a pat on the back for that post title- because it fits just perfectly with the post I’ve got for you- lots of photos! Before we begin, I’ll get you up to scratch with my Saturday. Here’s a couple posts I’ve already done: And I’m Feeling Good & Superfoods-my way.
Now that’s taken care of, here are some photos to document my Saturday.
A tasty breakfast of multigrain and wholegrain oats, chia seeds, trim milk, almonds, banana slices and honey. If you can’t tell I’m definitely a gluggy, non-runny oats type of gal.
A very flattering photo of me eating the previously shown breakfast. I thought it was about time I uploaded some more (unflattering) photos of moi. Oh and I had to get on my knees for this to work haha- You’re welcome!
The usual Saturday lunch: 1 piece of wholegrain toast, avocado, turkey slices, mushrooms and low fat cheese, with a side salad of lettuce, tomato, carrots and cucumber. I need to find a more appropriate name for that actually, because ‘side’ really doesn’t fit. Is it just me or does this salad look like it’s trying to push the other food off the plate. Salad is sneaky I tell ya.
Oh and this is basically what I’ve been doing all day- plus throw a few more books and folders in there, oh and a laptop!
Looks fun right? I tell ya, we are only 3 weeks in and I am already ready for holidays- hell I didn’t even wanna go back to start with. And guess who has two group presentations due next Tuesday? Yup that would be me. Rescue Remedy will come in handy that day!
Oh and if you have a sharp memory you may remember way back when I spoke about first taking St Johns Wort- well I thought I’d give you an update. Things are going really well with it- I don’t know if it’s the vitamins or just the psychological aspect of taking something that is ‘suppose to make me feel better’, but it works- and like my therapist says ‘who cares what is doing it as long as it’s working’. And I couldn’t agree more!
Work is nearing it’s end and I’m ready to enjoy a yum date night! We are going Japanese tonight and I can’t wait to dig in. Not sure what’s on the cards for dessert though. This is so unlike me not having a plan :P I usually have one the Sunday before ;) But nonetheless I’ll be sure to bring you along vicariously through photos and descriptions haha.
What have you got planned for tonight?
